SHE WAS LYING
SHE WAS DREAMING
Dressed in a silken negligee.
Walking among tombstones.
Her thoughts are of him and the path he chose.
She tried to save him,
tried to force her love on him.
He would not have it:
" Where I am there are no rules
there is no law
in the fog they fade
in the midst of unconcern
of dream, of seemingly
has been time strung out."
In her mind she knows this is her dream.
She is making love to him. He tells her
he loves her, always did...Can't live
without her.
She fears waking
knowing he is gone
once again.
That he chose death over love.
She wakes up sobbing.
Walking among tombstones.
Her thoughts are of him and the path he chose.
She tried to save him,
tried to force her love on him.
He would not have it:
" Where I am there are no rules
there is no law
in the fog they fade
in the midst of unconcern
of dream, of seemingly
has been time strung out."
In her mind she knows this is her dream.
She is making love to him. He tells her
he loves her, always did...Can't live
without her.
She fears waking
knowing he is gone
once again.
That he chose death over love.
She wakes up sobbing.
